Sadie and Mason just finished up the soccer season. Scott was their coach...cute, I know. They had alot of fun. I wish everyone could have seen Sadie's 2 minute victory dance every time she got a goal. After the last game we celebrated at DQ.
We are finally enjoying some warm weather. Last year we got the pool out in March...this year it was the middle of April before we dared, But all the fun, anyway.
Friday night and Saturday during Easter weekend we where able to go to the Coral Pink Sand Dunes with Grandma and Grandpa Gilberg, ans Steven and Rachel. We rented a tent trailer (funny, I know), but it kept us out of the rain during the night, and gave the kids a fun place to sleep and watch movies. We rode 4-wheelers and had dutch oven Dinner. Easter day was great, It is so fun to watch the kids hunt for their easter baskets and eggs.
Sadie's Spring break was last week so we decided to take a vacation. We went to Vernal for a 5-6 day trip but due to the loss of Our Sweet Grandma GG it was extended to 12 days, and we added 1000+ miles to Idaho for services there. Vernal was great as usual. The kids rode 50cc motorcylces, (thanks for helping uncle Jesse). Sadie had a date to the High school play with my dad. I got to sew, and the kids got to play play play. We also enjoyed seeing the Evans cows, hoping one would have a calf while we where there, but she waited till we left. We enjoyed seeing everyone, in Vernal and in Idaho, and we are glad to finally be home.
Eliza is trying to prove her independance. She eats with a fork now and this night demanded to eat her icecream by herself so we gave her a spoon, and well the rest is in the pics
Mason and Eliza have been the best of friends... They love to chase each other around the house(giggling hysterically). And of course Mason is still an animal, I think he is a Cheetah in this pic!!
Here are some pics of the new minivan. We drove down to phoenix (The van was at a dealership there) last week and stayed at Grandma Gilberg's, in Mesa. Long drive, but super exciting. I can't even express how much I love it!! No need to listen to me dream of a minivan anymore!! I have officially joined the "soccer mom" club. And I am LOVING IT!!!!
We weren't able to go to New Orleans for the sugar bowl, so we had a big, party at my parents house. My mom had great food and prizes. But nothing could compare to the game and the big win!!
