Sadie grew sunflowers in out back yard...we called them her "kids" and she checked on them everyday. They have grown about 11 ft tall. She also did a lemonade stand, it was about 105' so I considered her a trooper:)
So the kids earned a trip to Lagoon, by doing extra chores and things. We had alot of fun. Scott couldn't have been more excited that Sadie went on all the "big" rides and LOVED them. Eliza loved the boats and hated being in line. Mason loved all the rides in Kiddie Land but was glad he wasn't tall enough to go on any of the big rides. I think it took us 4 days to recover:)
Yep, it's taken me a month to post the picture but Sadie's Graduation from Kindergarten was just great! She is super excited to start 1st grade in August
While I was gone at Youth Conference for the weekend, Mason got in a little bike accident. Scott was at work and the kids had a babysitter when it happened Dad: "It's a Good thing you had your Helmet on." Mason: "Yah, but helmets don't work, cause I landed on my face"!
Grandma Carol is managing the pool in Kanab...We spent a few days there last week. Sadie and Mason had a few swimming lessons, and played hard. Eliza fell in love with the slide. I can't even count how many times she went down. We all got alot of sun:)
Our summer has already been full of sun and fun. Of course the kids love water, whenever they can get into it. This is one of the Splash parks and a fountain they love.
Sadie and Mason just finished up the soccer season. Scott was their coach...cute, I know. They had alot of fun. I wish everyone could have seen Sadie's 2 minute victory dance every time she got a goal. After the last game we celebrated at DQ.
We are finally enjoying some warm weather. Last year we got the pool out in March...this year it was the middle of April before we dared, But all the fun, anyway.
Friday night and Saturday during Easter weekend we where able to go to the Coral Pink Sand Dunes with Grandma and Grandpa Gilberg, ans Steven and Rachel. We rented a tent trailer (funny, I know), but it kept us out of the rain during the night, and gave the kids a fun place to sleep and watch movies. We rode 4-wheelers and had dutch oven Dinner. Easter day was great, It is so fun to watch the kids hunt for their easter baskets and eggs.
Sadie's Spring break was last week so we decided to take a vacation. We went to Vernal for a 5-6 day trip but due to the loss of Our Sweet Grandma GG it was extended to 12 days, and we added 1000+ miles to Idaho for services there. Vernal was great as usual. The kids rode 50cc motorcylces, (thanks for helping uncle Jesse). Sadie had a date to the High school play with my dad. I got to sew, and the kids got to play play play. We also enjoyed seeing the Evans cows, hoping one would have a calf while we where there, but she waited till we left. We enjoyed seeing everyone, in Vernal and in Idaho, and we are glad to finally be home.
Eliza is trying to prove her independance. She eats with a fork now and this night demanded to eat her icecream by herself so we gave her a spoon, and well the rest is in the pics
